Crochet Fish Cat Toy
using DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook
1. Chain 2
2. 3 SC into 2nd chain from hook, continue in spiral
3. inc 3 times - 6sc
4. (1 SC, inc) 3 times - 9sc
5. (2 SC, inc) 3 times - 12sc
6. (3 SC, inc) 3 times - 15sc
7. 15 SC
8. 15 SC
9. 15 SC
10. 15 SC
11. (3 SC, dec) 3 times - 12sc
12. (2 SC, dec) 3 times - 9sc ... stuff firmly and add some catnip if desired at this point
13. (1 SC, dec) 3 time - 6sts
14. chain 1, squeeze in half and working through both sides together to close SC 3 times (see picture below)
15. chain 1,turn, inc 3 times - 6sc
16. chain 1, turn, (1 SC, inc) 3 times - 9sc
17. chain 1, turn, sc 9 stitches, fasten off ... sew in ends
